You Made Me

 

Breaking up with Dylan wrecked me  (see this blog post.)  I couldn't shake him and it made me mad--at him, at how hard love always seemed to be, but most especially, at myself.  One morning I woke up with a melody in my head.  I sat down at my keyboard and You Made Me spilled out.  It's raw, edgy, and contradictory--just like most of us when we're equal parts lamenting he took off and irritated with ourselves for still caring about him!
